FREE WEBINAR
Learn It Tonight!
The Flower Duet
Hosted by Anne Sullivan, Harp Mastery® Founder
On this webinar, I will teach you my arrangement of Léo Delibes’ “Flower Duet” from his opera Lakmé. Be at your harp, ready to play, and by the end of the webinar you will have a new piece to add to your repertoire! (Note that although the piece is called “Flower Duet,” it’s a duet for singers but a solo for us harpists.)
In this special online class, we will:
- Review what you need to know about the piece in order to play it well and learn it more easily.
- Work on the specific techniques used in this piece. I’ll give you drills that will help you work on any that are unfamiliar or unaccustomed.
- Review the expressive elements to include that will make the piece flow gracefully.
- Practice the piece together. I will guide you through each step. You will hear me so you can play along, but no one will hear you!
- Talk through the practice strategies to use after our class to keep making progress on the piece.
You may even have this piece ready to play by the time our class is over!
The webinar is totally free as is the included Practice Strategies Guide, but you will need a copy of the sheet music so you can follow along.
My Harp Mastery members: the sheet music PDF is already in the sheet music section of our website; you don’t have to purchase it.
All others: Just until the date of the webinar, we are offering the piece in our shop at just $4.00, nearly 50% off the usual price.
And yes, we will send out a replay in case you can’t make it live, but only if you sign up!
Space is limited. Reserve your spot now. You will receive a replay if you sign up.
