Hosted by Harp Mastery® Founder Anne Sullivan

It’s on nearly every harpist’s “dream piece” list.
Its beauty makes every listener melt.
It’s played everywhere every year.

Yet many harpists are afraid to tackle it. What is it?

It’s the Waltz of the Flowers cadenza, from The Nutcracker ballet.

With its iconic swirling arpeggios, the Waltz of the Flowers cadenza is standard repertoire for orchestra harpists but it’s on the “must learn” list for other harpists as well. It is a stunning showpiece for the harp and well worth having “in your back pocket” at the holidays.

But it isn’t easy.

On this webinar, I will share with you the three part plan I have used to teach the cadenza to my students and I’ll show you how to adapt it to suit your own playing level. And yes, the cadenza can be lever-friendly!

You will also discover:

  • Why you should learn this cadenza even if you will never play with an orchestra.
  • The first thing you must learn before you tackle the notes.
  • Why many harpists can’t make the cadenza flow, and how you can!

Plus, I will clue you in on the harpist we have to thank for Tchaikovsky’s amazing harp writing!

Let’s crack the Nutcracker code together! Register for the webinar today!

Yes, there will be a recording in case you can't attend live, but only if you register!
