Announcing the Chorale Challenge and Contest!

Learn Anne's latest arrangement and win a 30-minute coaching or conversation call with her!

This month within the My Harp Mastery community we’re going to be learning Anne's latest arrangement, an arrangement of the famous melody known as the “Passion Chorale.” You may not know it by that name, but it is one of the beloved of Bach’s chorales.  You can listen to Anne play her arrangement here.

As an added incentive to learn the piece, we have created a challenge and a contest, not only for our My Harp Mastery members, but for all the Harp Mastery® community. What's the prize? A 30 minute conversation or coaching with Anne! Here’s how it works…

Participation in the challenge and the contest is totally free, but you must be a member of the Harp Mastery® Hub. This is our free, no-spam, no ads, no pictures of your lunch, online community. You need to be a member of the Hub because that’s where the contest information is. All you need to do to be a member of the Hub is to sign up with your email. You can do that below.

Once you are in the Hub, you can go to the “Challenges” tab and you will see the Chorale Challenge for May.  All the directions for the contest as well as the download of the sheet music (it’s free, too!) are posted there. And each week during the contest, you’ll get some new tips on how to practice the piece - also, totally free!

What’s the catch? There's no catch. You're going to learn a beautiful chorale! But to win the contest, you will need to submit a video of you playing at least the first page of the chorale by May 31. Then from all the videos we receive, we will pick the winner randomly. That means we aren't judging your video or your playing. We will assign numbers to all the videos and have the computer do a completely random number selection. 

Here are the simple steps for entering the Chorale Challenge and Contest:

1. Log into or join the Harp Mastery® Hub. 
2. Go to the Challenges tab and find the Chorale Challenge Contest.. (NOTE: You can join the Challenge and learn the piece without committing to the contest. Although, once you’ve gone to the trouble of learning the piece, why not send in a video?)
3. Click ‘Join” to join the challenge and see the tips for each week.
4. On or before May 31st, submit your video, either by uploading in the challenge post, or by emailing it to [email protected].
