That's what Harp in the Mountains Summer Festival is about - taking your harp playing to the next level and having fun doing it with other students just like you!
A one week summer immersive harp experience for harpists ages 13 to 20
You'll learn so much in a week AND enjoy being with friends who understand about playing the harp.
of course! But what makes Harp in the Mountains special is that all of our playing and practice and learning is done TOGETHER - no closing yourself in a practice room. You practice by yourself all year. Summer is time to enjoy making music with harp friends!
because music isn't just about learning notes and technique. We take advantage of our time at camp to explore, to experiment, to create music together.
because spending time with friends, whether it's at the harp, around the campfire or in the pool, is the best way to enjoy summertime. And if we get a little silly sometimes, that's ok too!
Director and Instructor
"Teaching is one of the most important aspects of my harp life. I have been privileged to guide and encourage many young harpists on their paths. And to see them enjoy making music and having fun with other students that share their interest is extremely rewarding."
Co-Instructor
"I'm a happily married harpist living in Montgomery County Pa. with our dog Benjamin. I love working with my former harp teacher, Anne Sullivan, especially at harp camp. I look forward to getting to know you."
