Eileen C.K. Shafer, CCM
Eileen is a dedicated teacher and performing artist who offers private harp lessons for both children and adults in the Jefferson City, Missouri area and online. She is a Certified Clinical Musician (CCM) and is fluent with both pedal and lever harps. Whether you want to play classical, jazz, or folk, Eileen will be a supportive guide for your harp journey.
Elinor Niemisto
Elinor has a Master of Music degree from the University of Michigan and credits in Suzuki Harp up to Book 5. Her goal is to guide each student to play the music they choose with the best sound and the least tension possible, to learn the most efficient practice strategies, and to explore and understand the fundamentals of Classical music.

Kristal Schwartz
Kristal is a passionate harpist, educator, and founder of the Bay Area Harp Academy. With a Master’s in Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and 25+ years of experience, she fosters musical and personal growth in her students. Her tailored approach encourages lifelong learning, exploring new techniques, and community engagement. She inspires and challenges students to reach their fullest potential, nurturing a love for music and a commitment to excellence in a supportive environment.

Martha E. Painter
Martha offers harp lessons for ages 6 and up. She teaches lever harp and pedal harp in her home studio where she has a lever and pedal both for the lesson time. Students can rent a small harp to get started in their harp journey. Martha studied Pedagogy at ETSU and Harp Performance with Jacqueline Bartlett.
