INTRODUCING
Arpeggios With E.A.S.E.

Are You Ready to Let the Fumbles Go and Let the Music Flow?
This one-week quick study course will teach you how to unlock confidence, speed, and flow in your arpeggios. Sure, you’ve worked on your arpeggios before, but they still aren’t as fast and fluid as they should be. What will be different this time around? Everything.
Why a “quick study” course?Â
Because you already have almost everything you need to play your arpeggios the way you want them to sound. All you’re missing is the plan, the E.A.S.E.system and a gentle nudge (that’s where I come in!).
What is the E.A.S.E. System?
It’s a simple but surprisingly powerful framework to transform your arpeggios from frustrating to flowing.
E – Evenness
Discover how to create smooth, balanced arpeggios where every note is clear, connected, and under control. No more bumpy or uneven patterns.
A – Accuracy
Train your fingers to land with precision, so you trust your hands even in fast passages. Accuracy means less second-guessing and more confidence.
S – Speed
Build the kind of speed that feels natural, not rushed—step by step, with techniques that let your fingers move easily and freely.
E – Expression
Turn technical drills into music. Learn how to shape the line, balance the melody, and make your arpeggios sing with beauty and emotion.
Together, these four elements form The E.A.S.E. System, your path to playing your arpeggios with flow, facility and confidence.
Here’s what our week will be like:
For one week, starting Monday, October 20, you and I, along with some other like-minded harpists, will meet to learn how to play more fluid arpeggios more easily. Each day we begin with building the skills you need - making sure you are confident with the patterns, the theory, the notes, and the technique.
Then we dig into how those skills work with real, honest-to-goodness music. Each day we’ll look at pieces that use arpeggios in different ways and discuss the challenges and the practice methods you can use to overcome them.Â
As a special seasonal bonus, we will also look at the Waltz of the Flowers cadenza. If that’s been on your list for a while and you still haven’t gotten it ready to play, this will be huge for you.
Not interested in learning the cadenza? You’ll be interested in this…
The reason so many harpists learn this cadenza, even if they never expect to play it with an orchestra, is because in just 18 measures it teaches you more about arpeggios and tests your skill more than many much longer pieces. Simply put, if you can play this cadenza, you can play any arpeggios anytime.Â
And because you may not be ready for the massive 18 measure arpeggio test, I am including 2 very much simplified versions of the cadenza, so you don’t have to miss out on all the beautiful music.
Besides, the cadenza isn’t just for the Nutcracker. It makes a beautiful introduction to any piece, or a great warm-up when your audience is in front of you. (They’ll think you improvised it just for them!)

Here’s How We Do This

Wednesday, October 15th
Get Ready
We start off with a “Get Ready” call before the course actually starts. I’ll review what we’ll be doing together each day of the course and make sure you have all the materials, the links, and the resources you need.

Monday, October 20th
Day 1 - Core Arpeggio Theory
Playing a beautiful arpeggio starts with knowing which notes you need to play. Today you will:
- Review chord and arpeggio structure and make the theory practical at the harp.
- Discover the best drills to learn the groupings in any arpeggio.
- Practice your grouping skills using some real-life musical examples.

Tuesday, October 21st
Day 2 - Make the Melody Matter
Just because a piece has a lot of arpeggios doesn’t mean it doesn’t have a melody. Today you will:
- Learn how your right thumb can create a beautiful melody without creating tension.
- Discover how to shape a phrase while still keeping your arpeggios even.
- Explore different phrasing and melodic strategies with common musical examples.

Wednesday, October 22nd
Day 3 - Finding Your Place
You can’t play the notes with confidence if you can’t find the right strings. Today you will:
- Learn placing drills that help you get around the entire harp effortlessly.
- Find the “keystone” finger in each pattern that makes your placing right, every time.
Identify placing strategies that will help you learn your pieces faster.

Day Off

Friday, October 24th
Day 4 - Speeding Up Smoothly
Playing faster doesn’t mean you have to give up note and finger security. Today you will:
- Learn arpeggio-specific methods for playing faster without feeling frantic.
- Speed up arpeggio passages in your “by request” musical examples.
- Discover the joy of playing fast, fluid arpeggios - finally!

This challenge is for you if:
- Your arpeggios feel uneven or awkward, no matter how much you practice.
- A page full of notes makes you tense and takes away your flow.
- Fast passages feel out of control and your fingers just can’t keep up.
- You can get through the notes, but the music doesn’t sound as beautiful as you know it could.
- You’re almost ready to give up on your dream of playing big, beautiful arpeggios.
Don’t give up!
If any of these sound familiar, you’ll find the tools, strategies, and encouragement in this course to finally move forward - with arpeggios that feel easier, flow more beautifully, and give you the confidence to take on music you once thought was out of reach.

If you previously took my Waltz of the Flowers Cadenza Challenge, this course will be the PERFECT refresher - and at a discount!
A few years ago, I offered a course called the Waltz of the Flowers Cadenza Challenge, which was incredibly popular and helped a lot of harpists learn to play the cadenza. But I know that over time, the skills that we learn in a course get dull and we feel like we lost everything we learned.
The Arpeggios with E.A.S.E. Quick Study Course is a perfect way to get back in the game and bring that cadenza back to performance level. No matter how much rehab you need, or even if you never got the cadenza quite ready for prime time, we can get your fingers dancing again.
Even better - because you already own that course, I’m giving you a discount on this one! Here’s how to get your discount…
