The Personal Coaching Intensive begins on Tuesday, May 28th and runs through Wednesday. July 3rd. The blend of individual coaching and group classes powers you to clearer focus and propels your harp playing to the next level and beyond.

Here is what’s included in the five week program:

  • One 1-hour private lesson.
  • Two 15-minute private check-in calls.
  • One 1-hour group workshop.
  • One 2-hour group masterclass.
  • One 30-minute private "next steps" call.
  • A private forum just for our class.

All the lessons, calls and classes will be online video sessions and will be recorded and downloadable.  Your lesson notes will be emailed to you and also stored in your personal folder on our website.

This is the same system I use for my Gold Circle students. Read some of their success stories below.

"It was the best of times; it was the worst of times (well, maybe not the worst).

But the second part is what I felt about my harp playing when I started. I played one song, partially, with many wrong notes, and without flow or musicality.
Then I started a year long ‘conservatory’ called the “Gold Circle”.
To be sure, I first had to make a commitment – like getting up at 4 in the morning -commitment, so I could practice at least one hour before the work day started. But without the commitment that Anne provided, I would not have moved forward.

So where am I at the nine-month Golden mark? Here are some baby steps I can recognize:
• Sight reading is improving.
• My fingers are learning where to ‘place’ on the strings significantly more often than before.
• I am learning ALL the pedals.
• I have the makings of four beautiful songs.
• The love of music is returning as I monitor my negative musical “self-talk.”

Anne is such an intuitive instructor with the ability to move the student forward with an array of techniques and methods (that I call “tricks”). She pushes when it is needed, holds the student accountable through weekly check in calls, and supports in numerous and generous ways.
One of my toughest issues is/was the ability to play in front of others. Within the Gold Circle group and Anne’s guidance, I was able to play (albeit nervously) in front of others. Baby steps. But this is the first step in sharing music with others. Now it feels like the sentence should read: it was the worst of times; and now I have the potential for the best of times.

What can others expect? That depends. It depends on one’s personal needs and commitment. I plan to continue to get up at 4 and hope Anne will continue to teach me."

"Last spring (before Gold Circle started), I was asked to play for our local Hospice’s Light of Life Ceremony.

I planned to play 2 hymns that I've played before and felt I knew well. When I got there one of the Hospice doctors told me that his daughter used to play the harp for the service, and now she played professionally. That made my confidence tank, and I bombed. Big time. My hands started shaking and distracted me, and I lost my place in the music. I had to stop playing and restart a section - it was that bad. This was one of those situations that mistakes were obvious to everyone!!! After that, I swore that I would never play in public ever again.
Fast forward to this Tuesday. I got a call from them in a panic because their singer for the tree lighting ceremony had a virus and couldn't come. Would I please come play some background music for the reception? (I had already declined to play for this event due to my performance last time.) I told them I'd only be able to play a couple of Christmas carols, but that was fine with them.
So I spent the next 2 days practicing and freaking out and becoming sick about this performance. I almost called and backed out several times, but decided that wouldn't be a nice thing to do.
Well, I did it!!! I played 30 minutes of background Christmas music. When I started warming up, my hands started shaking, and I gave them a stern scolding about how this was background music, and it was stupid to start shaking. I also made a deal with myself that if I bombed or backed out due to nerves, I was going to have to send a confession email out to our Gold Circle group 😊
I got through it, and even started enjoying myself midway through the performance. I even had about 10 ladies who came out with their plates and sat behind me at the reception to hear the music. I couldn't have done it without all the practice and performance techniques that I've learned with our Gold Circle group. The weekly accountability and tailored practice plans have been wonderful for me and kept me on task.
Sorry this is so long. I was just so excited that I actually did it and it went well!!"

This is Your Opportunity

This may not be the "right" time. You might not feel "ready" for this. But there is not a better time than when the opportunity presents itself. And that time is now. Don't miss your chance.
