Chrysalis Music Workshop: Saturday Only

Your single-day registration includes a full schedule of learning, collaboration, and performance from morning through evening.

The day opens with an optional beach walk and instrument-specific warm-ups for flutists, harpists, and composers. The morning instruction features a signature masterclass taught by faculty who specialize in instruments other than your own — a deliberately cross-pollinating approach designed to expand your musical perspective. A coffee break and ensemble coachings follow, with a catered lunch at midday.
The afternoon turns to applied skills: a sight reading workshop with individual coaching and practice time, a panel discussion on The Business Side of Being an Artist, and composer read-throughs. After a dinner break on your own, the day culminates in an evening SPARX performance featuring Anne Sullivan and Joan Marsh.

Registration includes all sessions, the coffee break, lunch, and the evening concert. Schedule subject to refinement as the workshop approaches.

We are currently finalizing our hotel room block arrangements and discounted group rates, so hotel booking is not yet open. Lodging options will range from approximately $160–180 per night and have been selected for both convenience and comfort. One hotel is located directly across the street from the Convention Center, while the furthest option is just one mile away and offers shuttle service to the venue. Hotel booking information and reservation links will be shared as soon as they become available.

All registered participants will receive an email by June 15 with hotel booking information, along with any workshop schedule updates, repertoire suggestions, ensemble music and additional event details as they become available. We’re looking forward to welcoming you!
